“Embracing the ethos of Elaleni Estate this large 5 bedroom house blurs the transition between inside & outside space using carefully considered private gardens and courtyards. Flooding natural light, client privacy and entertainment were key elements in the design process. Each of the 3 interweaving levels are creatively linked with feature stairs and walkways that seamlessly carry one between spaces.

The entrance is understated in its simplicity but as you progress through the house, the user experience unfolds into private & public spaces with ever increasing expression. The public spaces all open up onto private courtyards and gardens connecting the building back to the ethos of Elaleni. The private bedroom spaces all have sea views over the trees to the east and picturesque views of the Elaleni forest. The lowest level of the building revolves around entertainment with a large bar, firepit, private cinema, gym, lap pool and jacuzzi.”
