Long live nature

The Journal, Environmental Health Perspectives, published a study conducted by Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, that found people who live in ‘greener’ areas live much longer. The research revealed that people living within 800 feet of nature and vegetation from their homes had a 12% lower rate of death, compared to those who lived in the least green areas.

Those who live within Elaleni Coastal Forest Estate will experience a number of health benefits when living around nature, in amongst a forest and surrounded by wildlife, as well as flora and fauna. Our residents will notice that they will have a revitalised mindset, an improved social life and see an increase in their physical activity.

The architectural design of Elaleni allows for the surrounding terrain to be considered into the design of the buildings, to ensure a harmonious integration of the offices into the landscape. Ensuring all residents benefit by having nature as an integrated part of their day-to-day living as well.
