What's inside this edition
A word from our Estate Manager. Ryan Streit shares progress across both estates: a new speed camera now installed on Lifestyle Estate, the Harvest Barn gym officially open to residents, and an update on the much-anticipated restaurant, which remains a priority pending final approvals.
Harvest Barn: a new chapter begins. The long-awaited Harvest Barn is welcoming residents, with a state-of-the-art gym, sauna, and a pool overlooking the dam — right opposite the Padel and tennis courts.
First Fridays. Our monthly social continues to be a highlight, with the most recent gathering celebrating Women's Day at the Leisure Centre alongside delicious pizzas from Venero.
Photo competition winner. Congratulations to Nkosazana Ngidi, whose stunning shot of the dam captured the essence of Elaleni and took out this month's competition, sponsored by The Lash Doctor. Keep those entries coming!
Resident feature: the Terblanche family. Meet Benno, Danelle, and their sons Ben-Louis and Luan, who've made Trogon Close home for two years — along with their hamster Muis and corn snake Mamba.
Coffee Chats with Ryan. A relaxed, informal way to connect with our Estate Manager, share ideas, and ask questions over a cup of coffee each month.
Birdwatcher's paradise. A look at the kingfishers, sunbirds, and other colourful visitors that call our wetlands and gardens home.
Rule reminders. A quick refresher on pet rules: written HOA permission is required before bringing a new pet onto the estate, dogs must be leashed outside their own property, and a maximum of two pets is allowed per property.
