Join us for an Election Info Session, hosted in partnership with DOCRRA (Dolphin Coast Ratepayers and Residents Association), ahead of the upcoming local government election on 4 November.
DOCRRA has been hosting these sessions at member estates across the Dolphin Coast, and residents who’ve attended similar sessions have found them genuinely informative. One recent session drew over 120 residents. Presented in an apolitical context, the session will walk through what’s actually at stake on election day. Many people assume they’re only voting for a ward councillor, but residents will in fact receive three ballots, all of which affect the composition of council in both the KwaDukuza and iLembe district municipalities.
It’s a brief, straightforward presentation designed to equip you with everything you need to know before you vote: no politics, just the facts.
Event details:
- Date: Thursday, 30 July
- Time: 18:00
- Venue: The Forest Clubhouse
Complimentary wine will be served, sponsored by the Elaleni HOA.
Whether you’re a first-time voter or just want clarity on how the ballots work, come along and get informed ahead of November’s election.
